Gossip is a destructive force that damages lives and can even take down a church. In our culture, gossip comes in the form of "fake news". Its purpose is to elicit an emotional response deep within that would cause you to think negatively about a person, vote in a particular way, join forces in standing against something. As believers in Jesus Christ, we are called to be people of the truth because God is truth, and Jesus said, "I am the way, the TRUTH, and the life!" Gossip is often done under the guise of anonymity or under the cover of a "prayer request." Why is gossip wrong? How will God deal with a gossiper? What should we do? take some time to read Proverbs 11:13, 17:9, 20:19, 26:20, Romans 1:28-32, and Revelation 22:15 as you prepare to watch the message.
